Hall T. Martin

Founder & CEO

Hall launched TEN Capital as the Texas Entrepreneur Networks in 2009. Today, the firm has over 12,000 investors in its network, and has helped startups raise over $700M and counting.

Hall serves as the Vice-Chair of the Baylor Angel Network. He previously led the Central Texas Angel Network (CTAN) as its first Executive Director, where he achieved over a 40X return for the investors.

He is the founder and director of the Texas Open Angel Network, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the education of angel investors. As a part of that program, he hosts the Investor Connect podcast series.

He is also a Founder and initial Managing Director of SKU (Incubation Station), a consumer product goods accelerator based in Austin, Texas, and the former Managing Director of AccelerateNFC, an accelerator based in Dallas, Texas, focusing on Near Field Communication.

Hall serves as an Adjunct Professor for the University of Texas, leading the Idea to IP program, which fosters startups from the engineering program.

Caitlin Leach

Operations

Caitlin has over sixteen years’ operations, management, and client services experience in a variety of professional environments.

She began her career in film as the Co-Founder and Director of the Austin Underground Film Festival. She then transitioned into the startup world as the Incentive Manager for an inside sales company.

From there, she assisted in the launching and growth of several startups through sales, operations management, and client relations. Currently, she is the Director of Operations for the TEN Capital Network.

Caitlin holds a B.A. in English Literature and Film Theory from Florida State University.

Ashley Matthysse

Outreach

Ashley Matthysse is TEN Capital’s Director of Outreach. Before TEN, Ashley owned a contemporary women’s boutique, as well as specialized in retail marketing and management.

At TEN, Ashley manages and hosts TEN Capital’s many events, both in-person and online, and helps to manage our investors, startups, and partners experience with TEN.

She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Apparel & Textile Marketing and Management from Kansas State University in 2001-2005.

Lilia Beaman

Client Investor Relations

Lilia Beaman has worked in a variety of fields, including civil engineering, academic administration, customer service, fashion design, fashion education, and retail.

She has owned and operated two small businesses: Lilia Ballí, a custom tailoring and bridal shop in Austin, Texas, and Western Whims, an American-made ready-to-wear apparel company.

She holds two degrees from the University of Texas at Austin: B.S. Textiles & Apparel Design, B.A. American Studies.

Samantha Eldred

Investor Connect

Sam is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our Investor Connect podcast from recording to publication. She has been in the administrative field from the age of 16 and performs many administrative roles for TEN. Sam is very detailed in her work, organized, and reliable. In her spare time, she likes to read, bake, and play with her two fur babies.
